This week Bobby talked about...

Have you heard of IBM’s supercomputer program Watson — it’s famous for taking on humans in chess and beating humans on Jeopardy. Now you can use Watson to analyze your personality. Simply enter something you’ve written, like a long email or longish Facebook post, and let Watson go to work. In seconds the real you is revealed. It also scores you on various needs and values… so I let Watson evaluate me… it kinda reminds me of a fortune cookie…. vague enough to make sense and very interesting. Sidewalk Prophets is set to release ‘Something Different’ on August 28. See more here.

MercyMe has unveiled dates for their fall "Greater Than Tour," kicking off this October, as well as MercyMe, It's Christmas! set to debut on October 9. Looks like the closest either tour gets to us is November 14 in Huntsville, AL.

NewSong is slated to bring their "Beating Hearts Tour" to multiple cities across the country this fall. We’ll let you know if it gets close to us.

This is hard to beleive but it’s been 20 years since the release of DC Talk's groundbreaking album Jesus Freak - they are celebrating by making its vinyl debut this November (the same month it released in 1995) in a limited edition double vinyl. In addition to the original 13 tracks on the album, the vinyl release will include two fan favorites from the Jesus Freak single: "Jesus Freak (Freaked Out Remix)" and the band's live cover of Larry Norman's "I Wish We'd All Been Ready." As if that weren't enough, the band's 1998--and final--studio album, Supernatural, is also coming to vinyl. All 14 tracks will be pressed on double 180 Gram white vinyl and is also slated to release mid-late November. In honor of that the video of the week this week is Jesus Freak from DC Talk…
