Did you hear about this...  a zoo in Japan had to issue an apology recently because of the name they gave a newborn monkey. They named her Charlotte after the new royal baby in England. The zoo was flooded with angry calls and emails. The zoo has apologized and they are going to consult the British embassy to find out what to do about it. Meanwhile, if you remember, William and Kate named their first kid after Curious George, which is a monkey by the way.

It was confirmed this recently that Lucas Films and Disney are set to develop another “Indiana Jones” sequel. This time the ancient relic everyone is searching for is Indiana Jones.

Looks like The Simpsons is never going away. Fox just renewed the animated sitcom for not just one more season, but two, bringing it up to 28 seasons. The animated comedy premiered in 1990 and has since won 31 Emmy awards. With a 27th and 28th season, the show will reach a whopping 625 episodes.

McDonald’s is testing “Create Your Taste” kiosks, where you can place customized orders on a large flat screen at a few stores. One mad genius Chicago man decided to see what would happen if he ordered the maximum amount of ingredients that the touch screens allow for one burger. The result? A burger with two quarter pounder patties, an “artisan” bun and 10X every single other ingredient from onions to bacon...what happened? Well, it's our video of the week.

Mom's and Kids alike are up in arms and they are grabbing their forks in protest...  Kraft says it will remove artificial colors and flavors from its original recipe Macaroni & Cheese dinners as U.S. customers increasingly demand quality ingredients. The new and improved Mac & Cheese will hit stores starting in January.  Just don't mess with the TASTE!

Mom, how many times have you heard your kid say, 'I don't like that!' when it comes to eating certain foods?  You are not alone...  We’ve all been at our wits’ end with kids who turn their noses up at the things we prepare for the dumbest reasons. Youngest Mother...  Lina Medina, who delivered a 6 ½-pound boy by cesarean section in Lima, Peru in 1939, at an age of 5 years and 7 months. The child was raised as her brother and only discovered that Lina was his mother when he was 10. 

Oldest Mother...  On April 9, 2003, Satyabhama Mahapatra, a 65-year-old retired schoolteacher in India, became the world's oldest mother when she gave birth to a baby boy. 

Highest Recorded Number of Children...  to one mother is 69, to the first wife of Feodor Vassilyev of Shuya, Russia. Between 1725 and 1765, in a total of 27 confinements, she gave birth to 16 pairs of twins, seven sets of triplets, and four sets of quadruplets. 67 of them survived infancy.

Highest Number of Children in Modern Times...  Leontina Albina from San Antonio, Chile. Leontina claims to be the mother of 64 children, of which only 55 of them are documented. She is listed in the 1999 Guinness World Records but dropped from later editions.

This week Bobby talked about...

The latest research shows a link between snoring and a decline in mental ability. [It may have something to do with how many times your spouse hits you in the head to stop your snoring.]

When I heard this story... I thought of my friend Lari Byrd... she did afternoon traffic with me when I did afternoons here at Sunny 92.3... but listen to this...  Firefighters in Boise, Idaho, responding to a house fire thought they heard the screams of people inside. The voices were screaming, "Help! Fire!" But when firefighters investigated they found parrots that had been trained to cry for help. There was actually nobody in the house. Crews removed the birds and gave them oxygen.

 It is with heavy hearts that we share with you the passing of Gospel Music Hall of Fame member and CCM pioneer Billy Ray Hearn.   Perhaps you already heard, Billy Ray died on April 15th...  He began his career and ministry in gospel music in 1960 as a church music director and was later recruited to work with Word Record Co., where he launched the Myrrh label for Contemporary Christian artists. Billy Ray is responsible for launching the careers of many artists including Andre Crouch, Steven Curtis Chapman, Michael W. Smith and 2015 GMA Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductees, BeBe and CeCe Winans and was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame himself in 1997.
