If you're an ice cream fan and you find yourself in New York City, get to a restaurant called Bubby's High Line and order the Kitchen Sink Sundae. It includes 16 scoops of ice cream, pretzels, pecans, peanuts, chocolate-chip cookie crumbs, chocolate and caramel syrups, rainbow sprinkles, whipped cream, and, of course, a few cherries on top. This behemoth serves eight to ten.  

A New Jersey man spent his 101st birthday at work in the job he has held for 73 years. Herman 'Hy' Goldman still works four days a week at a light fixture company (Capitol Lighting in East Hanover).

The 40-hour workweek is a distant memory. A new survey found 88% of us work more than 40 hours a week. 7 out of 10 take work home at least once a week. Over half  of us would spend more time with family or exercise if we could reclaim an extra 60 minutes a day. Then again, Americans spend 5 hours a day watching TV would we really spend extra time exercising?

How many friends do you have? According to a feature in New York magazine, how popular you are may very well depend on your age. And the magic one seems to be 29. The company that conducted the study explains that at 29, people are still in touch with school friends but have also forged new bonds with work colleagues.

An eight-year-old boy named Dylan Spoering from Minneapolis put up a sign on his front lawn to invite the public to his free piano concert back in July.... His neighbor and fellow musician Tommy Rehbein saw the sign and posted it on Facebook to help promote the event adding the comment "Wouldn't it be cool if a bunch of people showed up for his free concert?" Well they did... much to the shock of little Dylan... the pic and comment bounced around Facebook and hundreds showed up for the concert - in the rain.
