It’s tax time and already someone is in trouble for the way they filed their return. The IRS has returned a tax return to a man in New Jersey after he apparently answered one of the questions incorrectly. In response to the question, "Do you have anyone dependent on you?" the man wrote "9.5 million illegal immigrants, 1.1 million crack heads, 3.4 million unemployable scroungers, 80,000 criminals in over 85 prisons plus 650 idiots in Washington. // The IRS stated that the answer he gave was an unacceptable answer. The man responded back, "Who did I leave out?"

Facebook hasn’t hit 2 billion users per month, but it’s getting pretty close. Facebook now reaches 1.86 billion monthly active users. That’s an 18 percent increase from one year ago.

Interesting theory... experts say that the oceans of the world are filled with about 165 million tons of plastic. That’s 25 times heavier than the Great Pyramid of Giza. Researchers say that by 2050, plastic in the oceans will outweigh fish.

Did you ever sit around and try to say tongue twisters like Sally sells seashells down by the seashore.  Well, back in 2013, a team of researchers at MIT decided to find the hardest tongue twister - it took them since then, and now they have succeeded in coming up with the most difficult tongue twister - ever. Dispite everything that going on in our country theses days, I still will take this bag of nuts over anywhere else - wouldn't you?  After all the right to protest - everything - is part of being the GREATEST Democracy the world has ever seen - right?  Wrong... From the first day we set foot in a classroom we’re taught that the U.S. is the greatest democracy on the planet. But apparently we’ve been taken down a notch. According to the most recent Democracy Index the U.S. has been downgraded from a “full democracy” to a “flawed democracy” because of a further erosion of trust in government and elected officials.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story raced across the $1 billion threshold at the global box office a few weeks ago. I've seen it twice. Loved it! Of course I am a big Star Wars Fan. Now we also know that Episode VIII - which will come out later this year in December will be called, 'The Last Jedi'. The first trailer for the new movie will hit in May. We hope. Can. Not. Wait!.

If hot chili peppers are your thing, then you might be ahead of the curve when it comes life expectancy. A study (University of Vermont) suggests that the consummation of hot red chili peppers is associated with 13 percent lower risk of death. Researchers analyzed data on more than 16,000 Americans followed for an average of 18.9 years.

The most expensive home for sale in the United States just hit the market for $250 million — and it includes a helicopter, complete car, and art collection, seven full-time staff — and candy. The 38,000-square-foot Bel-Air, Los Angeles mansion stands four stories tall and includes 12 bedrooms, 21 bathrooms, three kitchens, a four-lane bowling alley, and a movie theater with 40 seats and a 30-foot TV.

A study finds lost dogs are more likely to be reunited with their owners than are lost cats. In the study (in southwestern Ohio), researchers found 71 percent of lost dogs were found, compared with just 53 percent of lost cats. And more than a third of the recovered dogs were found by a call or visit to an animal shelter. One big reason for lost cats remaining lost is that only 19 percent of found lost cats had a tag or microchip at the time they were lost.
